46 Akims elected in Mangystau rgn

"Elections were carried out by municipal and district election commissions. 94 candidates were on ballot papers, 2 candidates per seat. Following the elections there were elected 46 governors", summed up the results Esen Kumiskali, Chief Electoral Officer of Mangystau region.

He stressed that voting precincts were attended by 61 observers, Akims agents and mass media representatives. No complaints from them were received.

"All the elected Akims have college degrees, nearly 70% of them had previously worked as Akims, 19 governors under the age of 35 years. 87% of the elected are members of "Nur Otan"", shared details E.Kumiskali.

There is only one woman among the elected governors.
