442 books on Kazakh history and culture released within Cultural heritage program

Minister of Culture Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed has said it at the Ministry's board held with participation of Prime Minister Karim Massimov.

"The most important direction of "Madeni mura" program is a wide popularization of spiritual heritage of the people, making it the nation's patrimony for the next generations", M.Kul-Mukhammed said.

According to him, such projects as "1000 traditional kyuis" and "1000 traditional songs" drew a wide public response. 442 books on history, archeology, ethnography and culture of Kazakhstan saw the light pursuant to the program's development.
