43 Kazakhstani universities introduce ISO-9000

ASTANA. June 15. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ ?Education and vocational training are classified as the main priorities of the state policy?, Kazakh Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has said today at the IREG-4 conference in Astana.
The Minister informed of the status and directions of development of the higher education system in Kazakhstan, noting that the Government pays special attention to the issues of improvement of quality of the higher education.
According to the Minister, the higher educational institutions of the country permanently seek for effective methods of managing the educational activity. 43 universities introduced the quality management system corresponding to the ISO-9000 international standards.
