4 Kazakh-Iranian plants producing travertine and granite to be built in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Four joint Kazakh-Iranian plants producing travertine and granite to be built in Kazakhstan by 2016, this has been announced by the head of the Iranian company "Atlas Tabadol Co" Ahad Ghasemi.
"We plan to build 4 factories - in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent and Uralsk. Fixed capital (investment) will be approximately USD 16-20 million", said A.Ghasemi on the sidelines of the Kazakh-Iranian business forum which is taking place in Astana. The first plant will be built in Astana. A.Ghasemi explained that the facilities will produce construction materials made of granite and travertine for facing both internal and external facades. Construction of the plants is planned to be completed by 2016.
