39 new performances staged in Kazakh theatres in 2010

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "Last year the theaters of Kazakhstan directed 39 new performances," Culture Minister Mukhtar Kul-Muhhamed told at today's enlarged session of the Ministry's board involving PM Karim Massimov.
One of the brightest events in the field of culture was the opening nights of the works of winners of a creative contest announced in 2009. For example, "Astana!" musical stirred great interest in Japan so the opera signer of Japan Mana Nakana arrived in Kazakhstan to play the role of a Japanese girl in its first night.
