3500 volunteers to be involved in Asian Games
ASTANA. September 24. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ 3500 volunteers will be involved in the Asian Games 2011 in Astana and Almaty.
'Total number of volunteers involved in the Games will be 3500. In Astana 1500 volunteers will assist at the event. The Organizing Committee will provide all the equipment, food, transportation and all kinds of services', Volunteer Service Expert Inessa Sagadiyeva informed.
According to her, the Volunteer Service of Astana made a working trip to Almaty for experience exchange. Besides, the trainings of volunteers will start in October. The recruitment of volunteers will be held until December because the accreditation of all people involved in the Games starts in December. 'We plan to hold a volunteer dedication ceremony on December 5', the expert noted.
'Now we are establishing contacts with our colleagues from Kazan for experience exchange where they are preparing to hold the Universiade', I. Sagadiyeva said.
