350 gas fuel buses to be acquired for Astana in 2014
ASTANA. December 18. KAZINFORM As of today there is deficit of passenger transport in the capital, due to this fact 350 buses with gas equipment are to be procured in 2014. It's expected that according to supply schedule, 200 buses will be delivered to Astana by the City Day, and 150 buses - by December 1, 2014.
"In order to comply with economical efficiency and ecological safety, and to provide preparation for EXPO-2017 the buses will have gas equipment. Due to this a new gas electric station will be constructed and the number of filling stations in the city. It's needed to build a new bus fleet for the buses, the plot has been determined, the construction is to start in the nearest future", - the head of the Administration of passenger transport and motor roads Rashid Amanzhulov told astana.kz at the regular session of Astana city maslikhat.
