30 % of educational grants for rural youth

ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ 30 per cent of state educational grants on specialties defining social and economic development of village are provided for rural youth, Director of the Development Strategy Department of the Kazakh Ministry of Education and Science Serik Irsaliyev said at the briefing.
"They are pedagogical, medical, agrarian and other specialties which are in demand in rural districts", - he explained.
According to him the following quotas are provided this year: 30 per cent rural quota for corresponded specialties, 2 per cent quota for Kazakh nationals which are not Kazakhstan citizens, 1 per cent quota for orphanage children, 0.5 per cent for disabled children and 0.5 per cent quota for war participants.
