3 killed, 2 hospitalized due to fires in Kazakhstan's regions
ASTANA. June 24. KAZINFORM A fire broke out in household outbuildings and in a house on June 23 in Akmola region. The fire covered an area of 120 square meters. A man, born in 1939, was found dead at the place of the accident. 13 firemen and four units of the fire service equipment worked at the scene.
Another fire accident occurred in Kostanay region. A two-flat house went up in flames. A body of a man, born in 1948, was found at the scene; an old lady had thermal burns and was taken to a hospital.
A man, born in 1952, was killed and another man of the same age had carbon monoxide poisoning due to a fire in a light-construction house in Lenger town, South Kazakhstan. The fire covered an area of 25 square meters.
Eight firefighters and two units of the fire service equipment put out the fire.
