3 killed, 14 injured in rail mishap in northern India

NEW DELHI. January 16. KAZINFORM. Fog claimed the lives of three persons and injured at least 14 others in yet another rail mishap in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh Saturday, a senior Indian Railways official said; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

"Three persons were killed and the number of injuries is known to be 14 all of whom have been admitted to a local hospital. The rail mishap took place when the Kalindi Express collided with the Shram Shakti Express near the Tundla junction in the state due to dense fog which had reduced visibility levels," North-Central Railway spokesperson R.D. Vajpai told the media in the national capital.
