2nd International Mining and Metallurgical Congress to be held in Astana

'Astana will host the 2^nd congress this year. We are confident it will be as successful as the first one and all the set goals will be reached,' Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Albert Rau said it at the press conference.

According to the organizers, the main goals of the event are possible contributions to development of communications, experience exchange, technologies exchange between Kazakhstan and foreign enterprises, attraction of investments to mining and metallurgical sectors of the country, etc.

The municipal administration confirmed that it supported holding of the event in the capital. This year the Congress will be held in the Palace of Independence.
