27 new kindergartens to be built in Kazakhstan in upcoming years

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - 27 new kindergartens will be built in Kazakhstan in next 3 years within the framework of the Nurly zhol program.
Member of Majilis, the lower chamber of the Kazakh Parliament, Gulmira Issimbayeva said at a press conference that 10 billion tenge will be allotted to this end. "We plan to build 27 kindergartens in next 3 years in the regions where there is lack of primary education institutions," she said. "Those are South Kazakhstan, Almaty, Zhambyl and Mangystau regions as well as Almaty and Astana cities," Ms Issimbayeva noted. "Almaty and Astana are heavily populated areas with constantly growing birth rate. Hence, we need more kindergartens there," she added.
