260,000 children to go to 1st grade this year - Kazakh Education Minister

TANA. August 16. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ More than 260 thousand children will go to the first grade this year, Kazakh Education and Science Minister Bakytzhan Zhumagulov said at the Government's sitting on Tuesday.
Totally there will be more than 2.5 million school students in the 2011-2012 academic year.
According to the minister, there are 7,741 schools in Kazakhstan.
