24 bln tenge for targeted financing of science in 2012, Education Minister

ASTANA. September 5. KAZINFORM Education and Science Minister of Kazakhstan Bakhytzhan Zhumagulov reported today at the session of the high scientific and technical commission under the Government on the first results of the execution of the law of Kazakhstan "On science".
As earlier reported, the sitting focused on targeted and grant financing of science for 2012-2014.
According to the Minister, the country embarked on a new science management model, proposed by the Head of State, the Ministry's press service reports.
Upon completion of the sitting the commission backed the volume of financing of the country's science for 2012 to the amount of KZT 24 bln for targeted and KZT 10 bln for grant financing.
