23yo son beats father to death

ASTANA. KAZINFORM -Aktobe region court has sentenced a 23-year-old man to 6 years in jail for beating his elderly father to death, the press service of regional court informs.
The tragedy happened in the town of Khromtau. The young man returned home being intoxicated. The man's parents were arguing. The young man was angry at his father and started to beat him. As a result of the injuries the old man died on the spot.
The district court found the man guilty of intended bodily harm dangerous to human life resulting in the death of the victim (Art.103 Part 3 of the Criminal Code). The defendant confessed to the murder.
