23rd plenary sitting of Foreign Investors' Council kicks off in Almaty

ALMATY. June 4. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Council of Foreign Investors has started its 23rd plenary sitting chaired by Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Almaty today.

The issues of efficient provision of Kazakh economy with qualified human resources will be discussed. The representatives of Kazakh ministries and departments, heads of foreign companies and international financial institutes - the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, BG Group, etc. - will attend the sitting.

The Council of Foreign Investors was founded in 1998 for ensuring a direct dialogue between the Government of Kazakhstan and investors working in the country. The Council is headed by the Kazakhstan President. The sittings are held twice a year.
