230 snowbound evacuated, search for missing continues

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM 230 people, including 12 children, and 88 vehicles caught in the snow in Akmola region were evacuated, the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry's press service said. No fatalities were reported.
The rescuers are still searching for a man missing in the vicinity of Akkol. The regional emergencies department formed an emergency response centre to control all rescue operations.
