20yo sentenced to 2 months in pre-trial detention for killing child
KARAGANDA. KAZINFORM - In Karaganda, a 20-year-old woman has been sentenced to 2 months in pre-trial detention for killing a boy, aged 11, to disguise fur coat steal, reported Kazybekbi district court.
"The court ordered to arrest the woman for a period of 2 months in pre-trial detention. This period is calculated from the date of arrest, from September 26," said the judge of the district court Alia Zhosheva. According to investigators, the jobless woman sold the stolen mink coat to a pawnshop for KZT 60 thousand. As Kazinform previously informed, the 20-year-old female was detained in Karaganda city on suspicion of murdering an 11-year-old boy. A 45-year-old woman turned to the police on September 25 saying that someone had stolen her fur coat. Later the same day she asked police to help find her 11-year-old son went missing. The boy's body was found September 26. Police detained a 20-year-old jobless girl, a relative of the boy's mother. She confessed that she had stolen the fur coat, then stabbed and suffocated the boy and threw his body down a pit toilet.
