2026 Qurultay elections: Voting begins in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam
Voting in the 2026 Qurultay elections continues at overseas polling stations. Kazakh citizens in Singapore, Indonesia and Vietnam have now gained the opportunity to cast their ballots, Qazinform News Agency reports citing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
Polling stations in these countries opened at Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions.
Earlier, polling stations for the Qurultay elections opened in South Korea and Japan. Voting also began at Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Beijing and at the consulates general in Shanghai, Xi’an, and Hong Kong. Polling station No. 423 also opened in Malaysia.
In total, voting for the Qurultay elections will take place at 10,423 polling stations, including 79 located at Kazakhstan’s diplomatic missions in 61 foreign countries.
