2024 Olympic Games: Mariya Dmitriyenko 10th in Trap Women's Qualification
Today, July 31, Kazakhstani Mariya Dmitriyenko competed in second day of Trap Women's Qualification at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The top six qualification’s athletes propel to the finals. The Kazakh competitor achieved a score of 120 and took 10th place. Therefore, she failed to advance to the finals.
It bears to remind that the Kazakhstani secured 4th place on the first qualification day scoring 73 points.
Earlier, Dmitriyenko won gold medal at 2024 ISSF Shooting World Cup in the Egyptian capital of Cairo.
The medal winners in eleven sports, including swimming, diving, fencing, artistic gymnastics, canoe slalom, cycling BMX freestyle, rowing, shooting, sailing and triathlon, will be announced at the Paris Olympics today.
Recall that Kazakhstan’s Alexandra Le and Islam Satpayev claimed bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team competition in Paris.
Judoka Yeldos Smetov claimed Kazakhstan’s first gold medal in judo. He won silver at the 2016 Rio Olympics and bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
Judoka Gusman Kyrgyzbayev won bronze medal of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris on July 28. He defeated Strahinja Bunčić from Serbia in men’s 66kg.
