20 people hurt in Elista road accident

MOSCOW. September 21. KAZINFORM Twenty people were hurt in a road accident in Elista, in which an excavator collided with a mini-bus, a law-enforcement officer told Itar-Tass on Tuesday; Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
"On Monday evening, the driver of a wheeled excavator from the Vodokanal municipal water supply utility lost control of the vehicle and rammed a Gazel mini-bus at the crossroads between Nikolayev and Demchenko Streets. The next moment, a Zhiguli crashed into them.
"Five Gazel passengers were rushed to hospital, and the Gazel driver and another 14 passengers were given first aid on the spot. A probe into the road accident is underway," the police officer said.
