20 people died in car crash not identified in Zhambyl region
TARAZ. August 2. KAZINFORM /Galina Skripnik/ 20 people died in the car crash on July 31 in Zhambyl region are not identified yet, the press-services of the Internal Affairs Department of the region informs.
As it was informed before, the car crash occurred at the 339 kilometer of the Almaty-Tashkent highway where the intercity passenger bus Mercedes Benz crashed into the lorry NORTH BENZ heading from Almaty to Taraz.
Two ambulance teams came to the scene alongside with the Firehouse Department of Merkensky district, task force of the Department of Emergency Situations of Zhambyl region, operative investigation group of the Department of Internal Affairs of the region and the representatives of the akimat and public prosecutors' office of the region.
The bodies of the dead were sent to Zhambyl regional bureau for forensic tests.
Currently 3 of 23 people who were sent to hospital with different types of injures are still in hospital.
