2 schools blown up in NW Pakistan
ISLAMABAD. April 17. KAZINFORM Unknown miscreants blew up two government-run schools in Charsadda district of the northern Pakistani province of Khyber- Pukhtunkhwa, local TV channel reported Saturday; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The two explosions occurred in the schools in Sardheri area of Charsadda, which leveled all the three rooms of one school to ground while the other was partially damaged. No casualty has been reported.
Locals said that for the first time a school has been targeted in the area
Police sources said that militants placed explosive materials at different parts of the buildings of the schools.
Meanwhile police recovered arms and ammunitions from two vehicles on Charsadda-Peshawar motorway; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
