2 killed, 1 seriously injured in two-car crash in Kazakhstan

The accident occurred on April 12 at 02:31 a.m. on 29th kilometer of "Kokshetau-Omsk" highway. A driver and his younger brother were travelling by Lada car to Chkalovo village, Taiynshinsky district. The vehicle broke down. The driver phoned his relative, who lived in a nearby village, and asked him for help. Sometime later the relative arrived on the scene and immediately started to repair the Lada car. At this time the car was hit by another Lada which was moving from Taiynshinsky district to the town of Kokshetau. The blow was very strong. The man who repaired the vehicle has died on the spot. The young man, brother of the broken car's driver, was pronounced dead at Kokshetau city hospital. The third person has been brought to the hospital with various injuries.
