2-day educational courses for cardiologists held in Astana

ASTANA. October 28. KAZINFORM 2-day educational courses "Diagnostics and treatment of cardiovascular diseases in the epoch of evidence-based medicine" for cardiologists have been held in Astana. This information was shared with astana.kz in Kazakhstan press club.

The educational courses involved 122 people from all regions of Kazakhstan. The courses were organized by the European Society of Cardiology and Kazakhstani Association of Cardiologists supported by the company Berlin-Chemie Menarini aimed at educational goals, Kazinform refers to astana.kz.

Over two days leading specialists of Kazakhstan and representatives of the European Society of Cardiology discussed problems and issues connected with diagnostics and treatment of arterial hypertension and consequences of cardiovascular diseases in our country.

Today the level of cardiovascular diseases in Kazakhstan is quite high. Within the framework of the educational courses management members of the Kazakhstani Association of Cardiologists together with the European Society of Cardiology searched for the ways for reduction of cardiovascular diseases in Kazakhstan.

The President of the European Society of Cardiology professor Panos Vardas told about consequences of cardiovascular diseases and arterial hypertension; he arrived in Kazakhstan for the first time ever to share his experience and knowledge of prevention and treatment of cardiovascular system diseases.

"Following the results of the courses the European Society of Cardiology offered their recommendations to be used by Kazakh specialists in practice", - it is reported in the message.
