1st international festival of nomads to be held in Kyrgyzstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The first international festival of nomads is set to take place by the side of Lake Issyk Kul, according to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan Esengul Omuraliyev.
"Preparations for the event are currently underway. The festival will be held on 14-15 September 2014 near Lake Issyk Kul," the Kyrgyz diplomat told a press conference in Astana on Wednesday. In his words, delegates from 12 countries, including Azerbaijan, Turkey, Russia, Mongolia and China, are expected to participate in the event in the city of Cholpon Ata. The next festival is likely to be held in Kazakhstan.
