1st Integration Congress of Kazakh-Russian Border Regions held in Uralsk
URALSK. February 9. KAZINFORM /Elzhan Yeraly/ The I International Integration Congress of Border Regions of Kazakhstan and Russia has been held in Uralsk on February 8-9.
Local and Russian engineers, scientists and heads of universities and research institutes took part in the event organized by West Kazakhstan Akimat, regional education department, regional affiliate of Kazakh National Academy of Engineering and others.
Opening the Congress Akim of the region Serik Suleimen noted that a number of projects was implemented within the framework of the State Program of Forced Industrial Innovative Development for 2010-2014. "Special attention is paid to the development of modern competitive technologies and innovative model of technical staff training." The Governor welcomed the cooperation with Russian colleagues on improving quality of education.
