1st Central-Asian Forum for Nuclear Medicine kicks off in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today the Palace of Independence is hosting the first Central-Asian Forum of Nuclear Medicine, the press-service of the Ministry of Health and Social Development reports.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss topical issues of formation and work out of nuclear medicine and radiation technologies in Central Asia, exchange of experiences, as well as presentation of the latest and the presentation of the latest developments in this field. The event brings together prominent scientists, heads of oncology clinics and specialists from 23 countries including Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, United States, Russia, South Korea, China, and India. It is expected that following the forum the attendees will prepare recommendations to ensure the establishment and development of nuclear medicine in Kazakhstan as well as in the countries of Central Asia.
