18yo hit-and-run driver detained

TARAZ. KAZINFORM The Zhambyl region police detained an 18-year-old driver who hit a 37-year-old man and fled the scene quickly without stopping to help him, the internal affairs department said.
The fatal accident occurred early Monday morning in the town of Shu nearby the railway station. Police investigators located a Toyota Mark II that matched the description in hot pursuit. The driver was taken to the temporary detention centre. The man could face up to five years of imprisonment.
