16 small airports to be restored in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 26. KAZINFORM Within the framework of the state program on development and integration of the transport infrastructure system it is planned to restore 16 small airports, Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Askar Zhumagaliyev said at a meeting of the Government on Tuesday, Kazinform refers to primeminister.kz.
In addition, reconstruction of runways will continue.
"Works will continue on the runways in Uralsk and Petropavlovsk. Until 2017 all runways will be repaired, and terminals will be modernized, notably mainly due to private investment," the minister concluded.
