15 Karaganda-based construction companies to be involved in EXPO-2017
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - At least 15 Karaganda-based construction companies are to be involved in the preparations for the EXPO-2017 event in Astana.
Managing Director of NC Astana EXPO-2017 JSC Saltanat Rakhimbekova announced the news at a field press briefing on Friday. "This morning I've had the opportunity to familiarize with the potential of Karaganda region. More than 50 local companies demonstrated their products and we discussed their possible participation in the preparation process. The governor of Karaganda region and the Chairman of NC Astana EXPO-2017 JSC signed a memorandum of cooperation. And I believe that at least 15 construction companies from Karaganda region will participation in the preparations for the EXPO-2017 event," she said. According to Ms Rakhimbekova, youth of Karaganda region is also expected to play active role in the preparations and holding of the exhibition.
