132 thousand people got jobs under 'Employment Roadmap 2020' Program
Astana. December 19. KAZINFORM - The program "Employment Roadmap 2020" enabled to employ more than 241 thousand people, of which 132 thousand have got permanent jobs, Kazakh Minister of Labor and Social Protection Tamara Duissenova stated at a Government meeting on Thursday, the primeminister.kz informs.
The main outcome of the program on all of its three directions is the employment of over 241 thousand people, of which 132 thousand were sent to permanent jobs, she said.
The results of the program have had a direct impact on employment growth.
If before 2011 the average annual growth in the number of employees was 170 thousand people, then after 2012 it increased to 232 thousand people.
"The share of self-employed decreased from 33.7 % to 30.5% to the total number of self-employed, while the overall unemployment rate reached 5.2 % in the third quarter of this year," the Minister concluded.
