130 Laws adopted in order to ensure legal support for tasks set by Nursultan Nazarbayev in his Address - K. Tokayev
ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM A grand meeting was held at the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan on the threshold of the Independence Day, the press service of the House informs.
Speaker of the Senate Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of this date for every Kazakhstani and for Kazakhstan itself that succeeded in economic development, political stability and social sphere over these 19 years.
The speaker touched upon legislative activity of the Senate for the year.
130 Laws have been adopted in order to ensure legal support for the tasks that were set by the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev in his address 'A New Decade, a New Economic Growth, and New Opportunities for Kazakhstan'.
At the end of his speech he congratulated colleagues on the Independence Day and handed over awards on behalf of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Several deputies received appreciation letters from the Speaker on behalf of the President for active participation in organization of the OSCE Summit.
