129 industrial projects to be launched in Kazakhstan in H2

KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ In the past year and a half, 227 projects totaling KZT 914 billion have been launched in Kazakhstan within the framework of the country's industrialization program. Kazakh Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev made it public at a Government's sitting on Monday.

Thanks to those projects 29,000 people got jobs. The largest amount of investments went to East Kazakhstan (KZT 142 bln), Aktobe (128 bln) and Pavlodar (121 bln).

135 facilities have already started to produce goods and approach full capacity.

In the second half of the year it is planned to put into operation at least 129 facilities worth KZT 617 billion with 14,500 new jobs. The total volume of investments will make more than KZT 1.5 trillion in 2011.
