125-apartment residential complex in Astana receives new occupants
ASTANA. December 29. KAZINFORM Yesterday a new 125-apartment residential complex at the intersection of Tarkhan and Zhubanov streets was receiving new occupants; it was built by the LLP "Elorda damu" as part of realization of a pilot project for failing housing demolition in Astana city of the Program "Affordable housing-2020". This information was given to astana.kz by the press service of Astana city akim's central office.
Over the two past months the LLP "Elorda damu" commissioned two residential houses designed for 189 owners of failing buildings.
Construction of the complex at the intersection of Tarkhan and Zhubanov streets is of commercial direction and is performed in order to reinvest the pilot project. Along with that funds received from realization of apartments there will be allocated for construction of new housing, part of which will be provided for owners of failing housing for free.
The residential complex is situated in the area with developed infrastructure, near the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute, "Ak kogershin" kindergarten, school №16 and "Kazakhstan" sport palace.
Construction of the house was performed considering technological requirements in energy and heat saving/ apartments in this residential complex are of the 3rd class of convenience, with finished internal rooms (laminated material, wallpapers, interior doors, wall covering in sanitary conveniences and kitchen - ceramic tiles, equipment - bathroom fitment). Façade finish is granite and pargeting. The average area of 1-room apartments is 36 sqm, 2-room - 55 sqm, 3-room apartments - 72 sqm.
At the recent meeting on issues of further development of Astana city the Head of the state criticizes price policy of several construction companies, which establish the price for 1 sqm 5-6-fold higher than the actual prime cost of the construction. In this case, in spite of convenience and quality apartments built, the price for 1 sqm realization amounts to 192 400 KZT. This gives an opportunity to provide affordable housing for wide categories of the population.
By the end of 2017 the LLP "Elorda damu" is going to build 616 000 sqm of housing, and over 180 000 sqm will be allocate to the municipal housing fund, or at least 3 519 apartments for owners of housing in 228 failing buildings.
