Kazakhstan to compete in 3rd round of ISU Short Track World Tour in China
The third round of the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Tour is set to run in Beijing, China, on December 6-8, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Following the first two rounds, the coaching staff changed the line-up, replacing Yerkebulan Shamukhanov with Mersaid Zhaxybayev.
Thus, 12 speed skaters will represent Kazakhstan in the third round of the ISU Short Track World Tour including Denis Nikisha, Abzal Azhgaliyev, Mersaid Zhaxybayev, Adil Galiakhmetov, Gleb Ivchenko, Aibek Nassen, Olga Tikhonova, Yana Khan, Malika Yermek, Alina Azhgaliyeva, Madina Zhanbusinova, and Zeynep Kumarkhan.
Recall that the first round of the ISU Short Track World Tour was held on October 25-27 in Montreal and the second one on November 1-3 in Salt Lake City, the U.S.
