12 girls to compete for Little Miss Kazakhstan title Apr 30
ASTANA. April 28. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ 12 girls aged 8-12 from seven cities of Kazakhstan will compete for the title of Little Miss Kazakhstan on April 30 at Ramada Plaza Hotel, Astana.
Director of Ok-models agency Olga Krykova says that Little Miss Kazakhstan gives a good opportunity to the girls to learn the basics of model show-business. The contestants are provided with professional portfolio and learn catwalk. Besides, the jury of the event gives special attention not only to beauty of the girls but to their acting talent.
In turn, director of the contest Oleg Ivanov promises a 5-hour grandiose show. The girls must introduce themselves to the public and jury, to walk in national and avant-guard costumes. The fourth round of the contest is called "Princess' Ball". And at the last round the girls must demonstrate their talents.
This year, the organizers added one more nomination "Little Miss Friendship" that is awarded to the most friendly and communicative girl who is selected by the contestants themselves.
Besides, a festival of children's mass media will be organized during the beauty contest which will allow the parents and children got familiarized with the domestic children's books.
The new Little Miss Kazakhstan will get a right to represent Kazakhstan at the international beauty contest.
