$12.5 million ceramic factory to be launched in July 2010

AKTOBE. February 4. KAZINFORM. /Samal Yendibayeva/ Kazakh Vice Prime Minister Umirzak Shukeyev has surveyed the progress of implementation of six investment projects in Aktobe today.
The first project is the ceramic factory "Sital-3" LLP. The project is realized through the attraction of loans from the second-tier banks to the amount of USD 12.5 million. It is expected to be finished in July 2010. A brick clay deposit 6 kilometers from Aktobe will be used as a source of raw materials. The total floor area of the factory is 95,000 sq m. 150 new jobs will be created.
The project will enable to satisfy the demands of western Kazakhstan and Russia's near-border regions for ceramic bricks made of the local environment-friendly raw materials.
