11 poachers detained in the waters of the Caspian Sea

ASTANA. KAZINFORM 11 poachers have been detained in the waters of the Caspian Sea since the beginning of the large-scale campaign Sturgeon 2014.
10 of them are the Russians and one is the native of Kazakhstan. Police seized 764 live and dead sturgeons, 12 dead seals, 2 poacher sea boats, 24,300 meters of fishing nets and 16,650 fish hooks, the message reads. For the past 24 hours the sea border patrol seized 236 sturgeons, inclduing 13 dead, 4,300 meters of fishing nets and 4,000 hooks.
