11,000 km of railway lines repaired for 2 years in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. November 3. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ 11 thousand kilometers of railway lines were repaired for the previous two years in Kazakhstan. Vice President of "KazakhstanTemirZholy" JSC Yermek Kizatov has said it at the Government's sitting today.
"These measures allowed to increase speed of passenger trains by 1030 km and freight trains - by 1220 km", he noted.
The company also reduced the circulation of work wagons; additional profit makes KZT 1.5 billion a year.
