105 homes evacuated after flooding in Karaganda region

ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM 61 people were evacuated and 7 others were rescued after 105 houses were flooded in Zhezkazgan town of Karaganda region on Saturday, according to the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergencies.
128 emergency officers continue to pump out floodwater.
As reported earlier, a 36-year-old woman and a 5-year-old boy were found dead inside a garage that was flooded on September 29.
