10-year-old girl killed in alleged drunk driver crash in Astana

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A 10-year-old girl in Astana was killed while sitting in the back seat of her parents' car after an alleged drunk driver crashed his CIT vehicle into it.
The road accident happened around 8 am Astana time at the intersection of Zheltoksan Street and Abai Avenue. The police say the drunk driver allegedly crashed his cash-in-transit van into Toyota RAV 4 car. When the police arrived they found the CIT vehicle embedded in the Toyota car and the girl dead inside. A criminal investigation has been launched.
