10 wounded in bomb attacks in N Iraq
MOSUL. July 5. KAZINFORM At least ten people were wounded on Sunday in bomb attacks in the city of Mosul, the capital of northern Iraq's Nineveh province, a provincial police source said, Kazinfiorm refers to Xinhua.
A booby-trapped car parking near a police office in central Mosul detonated in the morning, wounding four people and caused damage to the office building, the source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity.
In a separate attack, an attacker hurled a hand grenade at a police vehicle in the city, wounding a policeman and five civilians, the source said.
The attacks came five days after the pullout of U.S. combat troops from Iraqi towns and cities, in accordance with an agreement signed late last year between Baghdad and Washington, Kazinform rcites Xinhua. See www.chinaview.cn for full version.
