10 000th Bolashak scholarship will be awarded by Nazarbayev
ASTANA. November 5. KAZINFORM - Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev will present the ten-thousandth "Bolashak" program scholarship. This has been announced by the head of the Institute Nurbek Sayasat at a presentation of the results of the study titled "Evaluation of the Bolashak program effectiveness" conducted by the Institute for Public Policy of "Nur Otan".
"In general, for 20 years over 9,500 scholarships have been awarded. However, the contest for this year Bolashak is coming to an end. November 7 there will be an announcement of the results of the Republican committee and the 10000th winner will be named". According to Mr.Sayasat, 7000 Kazakhs have already studied abroadby this scholarship. To datethere are 2,500 students getting educated by the scholarship. This study is devoted to the 20th anniversary of the international scholarship called "Bolashak". Institute experts examined public opinion on the need for scholarships and identified the main areas of program execution.
