Kazakhstan’s No 1 and world No 5 Elena Rybakina withdrew from the Zhengzhou Open (China), Kazinform learned from Sports.kz.
Upon reaching the semifinals in Beijing, she may be feeling tired and wants to rest a little before the final WTA tournament. “See you in Cancun,” The Tennis Letter wrote about Rybakina’s decision.
Earlier, Rybakina sensationally lost to Russian Lyudmila Samsonova in semifinals of China Open in two games - 6:7 (7), 3:6.
