No need in additional devaluation of tenge - Marchenko

ASTANA. August 18. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ There is no objective necessity for additional devaluation of the tenge, Chief Banker of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko has said.
"As of July 1, 2009 the index of real efficient exchange rate made 100.4% while on January 1 of the current year this figure comprised 128%, It means that we fully rehabilitated competitiveness of exchange rate and our economy in whole", he said.
According to him this proves correctness of the first devaluation, and now there is no need in additional devaluation of the tenge.
