Kazakhstan opens hospice centers

ASTANA. KAZINFORM Palliative care organizations are being developed in Kazakhstan as part of the Single National Healthcare System.
To date there are 8 various palliative care organizations the countrywide, such as a palliative care centre, 3 hospices, 4 nursing centres and specialized departments at the mufti-field and specialized hospitals, the Healthcare Ministry's press service said. It is planned to open 10-15 palliative care beds on the ground of each cancer detection centers by 2015.
