Kazakh Secretary of State meets with reps of creative youth

The young people have talents in art, music, ballet, circus and poetry.

K. Saudabayev emphasized that presently the state is the only sponsor of culture. He said it is necessary to determine how many specialists and in what directions of culture we should train.

According to the Minister, our men of talent are mostly known abroad. They need further support and media publicity. He pointed out the government's efforts to support the young hopefuls - Bolashak Scholarship, Daryn State Prize, construction of academies, theaters. He noted that the nation can not be competitive without culture and spirituality.

The young participants made some proposals concerning further development of culture.

Minister of Education and Science Z. Tuimebayev and Minister of Culture and Information M. Kul-Mukhammed attended the meeting.
