Kazakh Economy Minister meets with reps of IMF?s mission

ASTANA. May 13. KAZINFORM. Kazakh Minister of Economy and Budget Planning Bakhyt Sultanov has met with members of the mission of the International Monetary Fund headed by Tim Callen. The meeting was held within the framework of the visit of the IMF?s mission to Kazakhstan; Kazinform refers to the Ministry?s press service.
The parties discussed the issues of current economic development, budget and tax policy of the Kazakh Government, macroeconomic forecast for 2010-2011, implementation of the Government?s Economy Stabilization Plan for 2009-2010.
The mission also holds meetings with the Kazakh authorities, representatives of the ministries of finance, energy and mineral resources, industry and trade, Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund and other organizations.
