Five dead from New Caledonia influenza A/H1N1

WELLINGTON. August 24. KAZINFORM The death toll from influenza A/H1N1 related cases in New Caledonia has risen to five, the Oceania Flash reported on Monday; Kazinform cites Xinhua.
Health officials said the latest two cases succumbed to pneumonia brought on by the H1N1 virus. Oceania Flash reported that neither of the two has pre-existing health conditions that put them at greater risk from the disease.
New Caledonia last week recorded its first influenza A/H1N1 death; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
